This holster is designed to be worn around the top of a boot for carrying a small backup weapon.
The holster is designed to be worn on the inside of your weak side leg (right handed shooter would wear it on the inside of left leg or outside right leg).
It laces up with its own lace and is put on after your boot so it won't interfere with the zippers that are part of most boots today.
The combination of the lace and the leather strap allows the holster to fit many leg sizes so we are listing it as one size fits most. It ships with a 36 inch lace but a longer lace can be used to fit a larger boot.
The holster is precurved to match the profile of your boot.
Leather is 8-9 oz. cowhide. It is available in natural tan or black.
Laces are shipping as black (Display holster has a different color for demo only).
Cant is set to 10 degrees to help with concealment.
It is made from .080 kydex on the front and back for good retention.
The retention is passive and requires no special draw technique, the weapon simply clicks into the holster.
The list of available weapons is limited to the "smaller" guns. If your weapon is not listed in the drop down menu please contact us to see if we can help you.
We recommend all fasteners on your holster have a thread locking product added to it once all adjustments have been made. We offer a suitable product in our store here or you can add it to your order above.

For the last two weeks I've been wearing my Cook's ankle holster on duty for my Gloc 26 and I must say so far so good with this product! I was kinda iffy thinking it wouldn't be secure tied around my book but it's pretty darn snug! Sometimes I forget it's on my ankle. The real test is when I go on a foot chase.... I'll tune back in if and when that happens!
The hulster is very well built. Great construction and nothing about it is flimsy. It holds up to the rigors of a 10 hour duty day and fits very well under long pants, without silhouetting your backup. I had concerns with the weapon coming out in a foot pursuit, but the holster itself holds the firearm securely and very tight. Only drawback I found is that I sometimes find myself adjusting and adjusting again to find a comfortable position where it does not press on bone. I'm also using it for my glock 26, but considering buying another hulster for my glock 42
This ankle holster is well made and all parts are replaceable if needed after hard use. I'm glad I went this route with my Glock 26.
Just what I was looking for. Running after suspects without one of these and you could be searching for your secondary weapon after the pursuit. With this design, you forget you even have it strapped to your leg. The weight is transferred to the boot and off of your leg. Great buy!
Holds s&w shield very well with CT laser grip. Highly recommend.
Purchased for Ruger LCR 357, excellent holster. Holds the weapon securely, stays in place on my ankle, very comfortable. I highly recommend this holster.
Since I have owned the holster for only a short time this is more a first impression. So far I have found it quality made and very easy to use. The holster holds the gun(Glock 42). securely in position and fit over my work boot with out issue The order arrived write within the time frame told to me. I'm so pleased with my purchase I am planning for order another for a my S&W M&P Shield in the near future.
Very good holster
Holds the gun nicely ( snug)
Not worried gun will come out
used for Ruger 380
I spent a lot of time looking for the right ankle holster for my S&W Shield with a CT laser. After several other returned items, I found Cooks and I must say I am very pleased with this holster. I carry my back up in my boot and when you lace it in it removes the weight from the ankle and puts it on the boot. This really is a top quality holster and will purchase from them again and will recommend to everybody I know.
